Abstract

In April 2019, the export value through ports in Kalimantan Selatan reached US $ 669.70 million, has dropped by 10.35 percent compared to exports in March 2019 which reached US $ 747.05 million and has dropped by 6.55 percent compared to the export value in April 2018 which reached US $ 716.66 million. The most exported group of commodities based on 2 digit HS is mineral fuels (HS 27) which has a value of US $ 604.07 million and the largest export destination country was China with a value of US $ 161.15 million.
The import value of Kalimantan Selatan in April 2019 was US $ 124.90 million has risen by 66.13 percent compared to imports in March 2019 which reached US $ 75.18 million. Whereas when compared with the import value in April 2018, this value rose by 33.28 percent, which at that time reached US $ 93.71 million. The most imported group of commodities based on HS 2 digit is mineral fuels (HS 27) which has a value of US $ 100.72 million and the largest import origin country was Singapore with a value of US $ 61.33 million.
Kalimantan Selatan's export and import trade balance in April 2019 was a surplus of US $ 544.80 million. This value is less than last month's Kalimantan Selatan's export import trade balance which was a surplus of US $ 671.87 million.
