Abstract

Kalimantan Selatan's economy in the first quarter of 2018 is measured by the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) reaches 43.12 trillion rupiahs.
Kalimantan Selatan's economy cumulatively until the second quarter of 2018 (c to c) grew 4.85 percent. In terms of production, the largest source of growth was contributed by the mining and quarrying category of 0.79 percent. While from the expenditure side, the biggest source of growth is the component of household consumption expenditure (PKRT) which is 2.53 percent.
Compared to the same period the previous year (y o) the economy grew by 4.64 percent. In terms of production, the highest contribution was from the wholesale and retail trade category, car and motorcycle repair with contributions
growth worth 0.66 percent. while from the expenditure side, the PKRT component contributed 2.81 percent.
Meanwhile, when compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q), South Kalimantan's economy in the second quarter of 2018 grew 7.10 percent.
